New Partnership Between EJ’s Auction & Appraisal and United Country Real Estate Creates One-Stop Shop for Sellers

EJ’s CEO Erik Hoyer and United Country Real Estate – Arizona Property & Auction designated broker John Payne combine savvy market knowledge for strong results

GLENDALE, Ariz. (Feb. 28, 2020) – Glendale-based EJ’s Auction & Appraisal and Gilbert-based United Country Real Estate – Arizona Property & Auction have formed a new partnership that provides real estate auction services to EJ’s clients. The new deal was brokered at a time when Arizona is experiencing one of its strongest housing markets.

EJ’s Auction & Appraisal’s CEO Erik Hoyer and United Country Real Estate – Arizona Property & Auction’s designated broker John Payne are combining their savvy market knowledge to produce strong results for consignors. The new synergistic partnership not only provides a one-stop shop for EJ’s consignors, it could be more cost-effective for them.

“We have a large percentage of clients who need help selling their residential or commercial properties in addition to liquidating their assets,” Erik Hoyer said. “It was an easy decision to align our auction house with John and his team at United Country Real Estate. They have earned a stellar reputation for their integrity, which in turn, attracts more qualified buyers.”

Payne said the new partnership also helps United Country reach more of their clients with new expanded services.

“United Country Real Estate is the nation’s largest integrated organization of real estate and auction professionals. As a United Country Real Estate office owner, I am excited to align our real estate and auction marketing services with a respected industry partner like EJ’s Auction & Appraisal,” Payne said. “Erik Hoyer and his team at EJ’s Auction are known for giving their clients a high level of service and are driven by a desire to help others, which are principals that we both share.”

Real estate auctions can result in higher sales prices realized than conventional techniques, and it’s one reason why more buyers and sellers and turning to this accelerated and targeted method.

Hoyer said real estate auctions tend to be recession-proof.

“Right now, it’s a very competitive market, which increases the buyer’s bidding pool. Real estate auctions not only attract more serious buyers, they create bidding wars that can have very lucrative results,” he said.

Payne agreed, stating that auctions are the ultimate free enterprise experience.

“In hot markets like we have in the Phoenix metro area today, the auction option allows a property seller to maximize value by having qualified buyers compete on price to purchase,” he said. “At auction, buyers know that they are not overpaying for a property since the winning bidder is buying just one bid over the backup bidder. Auctions truly are the most open, transparent and fair way to sell real estate, or about any other item, just like many of the world’s finest automobiles, artwork, and collectibles are sold…at auction!”

EJ’s Auction & Appraisal conducts exciting, high-energy auctions at 10 a.m. every Saturday at the full-service auction house, located at 5880 W. Bell Road, in Glendale on the northeast corner of 59th Avenue and Bell Road.
